Home electronics ASCII will sell well. Dyson Super Light Vacuum Cleaner "Dyson Micro" Pre-sale in Japan

Dyson Micro released on October 8 Direct sales price 64,900 yen Dyson https://www.dyson.co.jp/dyson-vacuums/cordless/dyson-micro.aspx

I love anything light in home appliances. That's why it's noisy that the wallet is light. I'm Ryo Morita, in charge of ASCII housework and childcare.Hello. On October 8, Dyson announced the lightest stick vacuum cleaner "Dyson Micro" in the company's history. The standard mass is 1.5 kg, 0.4 kg less than Dyson Digital Slim. Even if it is light, the suction power is reasonable, and it also sucks up dust on the wall. I can sell it. Pre-sale in Japan.

●Small, light, and powerful

Dyson Micro has a standard weight of 1.5kg. The Dyson Digital Slim released in June was 1.5 kg in weight and 1.9 kg in addition to the pipe and head, but this time it was 1.5 kg in addition to this. If it is only the main body, it is less than 1 kg. When the box of the trial machine arrived, I thought, "It's small!"

small for the box

The contents are full of various things

It's small and light. You can easily pick it up from charging, clean it quickly, and lean it against the wall for a while when it makes a ping-pong sound. Speaking of Dyson, it is an old story.

The main head is a Micro Fluffy cleaner head. The brush uses carbon fiber that suppresses static electricity. The size is 45% smaller than before, making it easier to reach under furniture. However, since the head does not bend very much, it is not possible to twist the main unit left and right to insert it all the way into the sofa.

The motor is equipped with a Dyson Hyperdymium motor with a maximum speed of 105,000 revolutions per minute. In the current product, the power model Dyson V11 is 125,000 rpm, and the slim model Dyson Digital Slim is 120,000 rpm, so it is quite late. That's about 2,000 rpm slower than last year's Dyson V8 slim, which was 107,000 rpm.

I'm a little worried, but there is no problem with normal cleaning. I could suck the pebbles scattered along the wall (colored glass balls that looked like them). The brush did not leave any fluff (cotton balls) scattered on the carpet, and the threads scattered on the carpet could be sucked in without getting tangled in the brush.

The power supply is a lithium-ion battery with a maximum operating time of 20 minutes. Dyson V11 is up to 60 minutes, Dyson Digital Slim is up to 40 minutes, so it's short. The battery is fixed, but it seems that you can remove the screw and replace it with an optional battery. The sales date for the battery is still undecided, but it seems that the product life will be extended.

During operation, the Dyson's unique low motor noise is surprisingly loud, but it doesn't hurt your ears. Strong mode is indeed a huge sound. The sound of "Kkyun..." at the end of driving is cool. I can't tell. By the way, when the motor stops, it seems that the sound is caused by the four magnets fixed to the motor bouncing.

●Even though it is small, it has 3 roles

The dust collection part that collects dust is a familiar cyclone mechanism. It is a mechanism that cleans the exhaust with a 5-stage collection mechanism. First, the clear bin separates large particles, and the mesh filter catches particles larger than 400 microns. Next, a cyclone mechanism catches dust and an electrically charged filter attracts particles. Finally, the post-motor filter traps fine dust as small as 0.3 microns.

Dyson Micro's selling point is that it's lightweight, but the filter is solid and the exhaust isn't too bad. It doesn't smell bad even when you put your nose close to it.

Trash disposal is one-touch as before. If you remove the pipe and press the clear bin switch, the lid will open and large garbage will come out. Press the other switch to remove the clear bin, drop the fine dust, and complete the garbage disposal. The cyclone part will be wiped with a dry cloth.

There are three types of included tools: a combination gap nozzle that makes it easy to clean gaps and high places, a desktop tool that can quickly clean surfaces such as tables, and a mini motor head that can be used to clean sofas and futons. By replacing the tools, you can use one of the three roles of a stick vacuum cleaner, a handy vacuum cleaner, and a futon vacuum cleaner.

A handy clip for attaching the tool to the pipe is also included. It seems convenient to stop the frequently used combination gap nozzle.

It also comes with a clip to hold the attached tool.

A bracket for wall-mounted storage is also included as before. If you screw it to the wall and use it as a charging dock, it looks neat, and the cable doesn't touch the floor and is easy to clean.

●It's not a trigger switch!

The major change from the previous version is that the power is turned on/off by a switch on the top of the main unit instead of a trigger. The switch for strong mode is also in the same position. There have been voices saying that "Dyson's vacuum cleaners are tiring to pull the trigger all the time", so much so that a product called "Rakuraku Trigger" is sold just to fix the trigger. So the switch itself seems to be pleased, but the position of the switch is subtle. Holding the steering wheel with the right hand and pushing the switch with the left hand is somewhat unnatural. You'll get used to it, but I want to press the button with my right thumb.

Speaking of Dyson, there is no trigger!

After that, the LCD screen on the back of the main unit installed in Dyson V11 and Dyson Digital Slim was also omitted. Instead, a QR code sticker is pasted with a message like "If you have any questions, please contact me." The LCD screen displays the remaining battery level, operating status, maintenance notifications, etc., and is convenient to have.

The liquid crystal display is omitted.

Dyson Micro is a model that omits various functions and is particular about making it small and light. Currently, cordless stick vacuum cleaners are largely composed of two axes of "strength" and "lightness", but this product is exactly what "lightness" is. It's a perfect product for someone like me who likes small things. I'm still not satisfied with the area around the switch, but the overall satisfaction was high, and it was a result that made me want to buy on impulse. Say it again. I can sell it.
